Eyelid Surgery

Trichiasis is a condition when your eyelashes grow inward instead of outward thus scratching your cornea. It can feel like there is something in your eye. Our eye doctors can easily and painlessly remove the offending eyelash or eyelashes. Our doctors at Lakeside Family Vision will evaluate your eyelashes at your comprehensive eye examination.

The elastic fibers in our eyelids can start to "droop" as we age. If your eyelid droops too much, it may impair your vision. This will be evaluated by one of our eye doctors at your comprehensive eye examination. If you are a candidate, your eyelid can be surgically "tucked" to reduce the droop. This procedure is quick and usually free of much pain.
